LES COLOMBES
Set against a background animated by stylized wisteria, a scattering of doves unfolds into a light and poetic composition. Though simplified, the forms retain a strong expressiveness. This design is the work of Jacques Drésa, a decorator and designer close to André Groult, and a contributor to La Gazette du Bon Ton.

(1909-1990)
André Mauny (1909-1990), fils d’un passementier et diplômé de l’École des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, fonde en 1933 la maison Mauny avec le décorateur Robert Caillard. Passionné par les papiers peints anciens, il développe une collection unique mariant les grands classiques du XVIIIe siècle et l’élégance de l’Art déco.
