Cupids and doves intertwine in a composition evoking matrimonial bliss. Designed by Roland Goujon and presented at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in 1921, the motif was later used in the Groult couple’s bedroom.

(1909-1990)
André Mauny (1909-1990), fils d’un passementier et diplômé de l’École des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, fonde en 1933 la maison Mauny avec le décorateur Robert Caillard. Passionné par les papiers peints anciens, il développe une collection unique mariant les grands classiques du XVIIIe siècle et l’élégance de l’Art déco.
